Hi i have a 1982 Hondamatic cm400 that has been retrofitted to look like an older bike,It has dual old harley sportster pipes that sound great and it also has a custom bobber style seat and springs and a side jockey shifter making it a ONE OF A KIND AND VERY UNIQUE MOTORCYCLE, You will not find another hondamatic with this unique styling or rarity. Not only is this bike unique but because its a HONDAMATIC its a breeze to drive, with only two gears and no clutch this makes a great beginner bike or a easy bike for the wife to ride alongside you.Also this bike has been lowered a little, i am 5-10 and i can ride it comfortably though, but someone smaller in stature should be able to handle it well. I have had this bike to about 60mph with no problems, never had a need to go faster around town but i am sure it would. It has roughly 15000 original miles on it and is an awesome bike to add to the collection or ride around town. This bike ran great last summer when i took it out several times a week around the neighborhood. Everytime i would take it around the neigborhood someone would stop me and ask me about it, it has very similar charcteristics to an old school triumph. Even the HArley Guys like it! I have a clean title in my name also, i recently moved and lost the ignition key during the move so currently i do not have the key to turn it over. I looked it up online and you can get a key or new ignition setup very easily for this bike under $30.00, each ignition has a key code so a new key can be ordered from any honda motorcycle dealer or you can disconnect the ignition and add a hidden pushbutton switch to start. As this bike has been in my garage sitting for the past several months, it could probably use a minor tune up to help it along, it sat through last winter and started right up in the spring for me though I have several newer bikes and this is sitting in my garage and i would like to SELL IT SOON to give me some more space.
